Abstract

PARRA-ORDONEZ DE V, Stephanny. Sexed bodies - technomediated bodies: an approach to the sexual subjectivities of young schoolchildren in Bogotá-Colombia. Prospectiva [online]. 2022, n.34, pp.287-308.  Epub July 01, 2022. ISSN 0122-1213.  https://doi.org/10.25100/prts.v0i34.11561.

This article presents some reflections and partial results of the category Sexed bodies-technomediated bodies, as part of the ongoing doctoral research Young people, sexual education and digital media: traits of sexual subjectivities. The exposed ideas focus on the recent virtualization of the bodily experience of young people. It is about identifying some clues and contributions for an education in and for sexuality, which recognizes the preponderant role of social networks in the configuration of sexual subjectivities. To answer these questions, a qualitative methodology is proposed in which multi-situated Ethnography, virtual Ethnography and Arts-based Research converge. The partial results correspond to a preliminary investigation carried out with students between the ages of 13 and 19 belonging to the La Toscana Lisboa District Educational Institution.

Keywords : Bodies; Technology; Image; Sexualities; Sexual education.
