Abstract

CORTES-LEAL, Jesús Alberto  and  ARANDA-CAMACHO, Yesid. Relational Dynamics for the Active Management to Tourist Activity in the Township of Palomino, Dibulla, Colombia. Cuad. Desarro. Rural [online]. 2017, vol.14, n.79, pp.16-37. ISSN 0122-1450.  https://doi.org/10.11144/javeriana.cdr14-79.drga.

The sustainable development of tourism activities in rural territories requires the coordination between public and private actors for their planning. Through the analysis of social networks, and with emphasis on relational content, the central actors of tourism in Palomino are identified. The results show low relational links, which at present makes it difficult to actively manage the tourist destination. Consequently, actions are proposed to implement an extended governance system whose leadership would correspond to the central actors of the network, in order to achieve the active management of tourism in the territory
