Abstract

BELTRAN RIANO, Daniel Ernesto. Redes sociales virtuales: la interacción comunicativa humana devenida en técnica. Enunciación [online]. 2021, vol.26, n.2, pp.244-254. ISSN 0122-6339.  https://doi.org/https://doi.org/10.14483/22486798.17249.

This article is derived from the research work entitled “virtual social networks as contemporary media dives”, which was developed as a doctoral thesis in the doctorate in Language and Culture of the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia (UPTC). As a result of the reflection on the conclusions of the doctoral thesis, especially on the technical-technological, semi-discursive, and socio-anthropological procedures that operate in the regulation of virtual social networks, this article discusses how the technical intermediation of virtual interactive communication influences the interaction produced within social networks. The influence of the technique in the construction of the mechanisms and tools of interaction in the virtual social networks (VSN) can influence the architecture that regulates the modes of interaction. This generates information flows that are adapted to the interests of the administrators of the social network, who build the big data. Finally, the most intimate human interaction is extracted from the big data through search algorithmsx. The theoretical reference of this article of reflection is based on the concepts of interface and media devices. The two concepts are addressed as analytical categories that allow the understanding of communication in the virtual multimodal scenario.

Keywords : virtual social networks; virtual communicative interaction; media device; technical instrumentalization.
