Abstract

ZARATE-CUELLO, Amparo de Jesús  and  CELIS, Luis Gustavo. BIOETHICAL IMPLICATIONS OF SAME-SEX COUPLES HAVING ACCESS TO BIOMEDICAL AND BIOTECHNOLOGICAL KNOW-HOW TO FORM HOMOPARENTAL FAMILIES. pers.bioét. [online]. 2015, vol.19, n.1, pp.48-63. ISSN 0123-3122.  https://doi.org/10.5294/PEBI.2015.19.1.5.

This article reflects on and reviews the biological and genetic aspects of homosexuality, from the standpoint of basic science and biolaw, and how access to assisted reproductive techniques for same-sex couples impacts the family. The foregoing leads to the development of concepts such as "prenatal violence," the right of children to grow up in a family with the image of a father and mother, and the implications of these concepts in light of Colombian law.

Keywords : biolaw; homosexuality; genetics; monetics; homoparental families.
