This study aimed to verify differences between college courses from the area of knowledge of Biology, as well as a profile establishment. This research assessed the results of students attending Biology courses or similar options, in each dimension of Escala de Aconselhamento Profissional (EAP), by variance analysis. There were 636 university students, of both genders, and the average age was 22.67 years old (SD=4.56). Significant differences among the preferences were verified in each dimension of scale either in the same course or different courses. It was also verified that the "Health and Biological Sciences" dimension corresponds to the highest scoring as expected, due to the biological aspect concerning these courses. The accomplishment of new studies is suggest. Further studies are suggested, such as addressing other areas of knowledge, or improvinging some of the limitations found here.
