Abstract
CONCHA VELASQUEZ, JOSÉ ROBERTO; LOZANO, LINA VANESA and RUIZ VALDERRAMA, RICARDO. ¿LOS PAÍSES QUE AUMENTAN SUS EXPORTACIONES LES VA MEJOR? (II). estud.gerenc. [online]. 2005, vol.21, n.95, pp.51-73. ISSN 0123-5923.
This research shows the correlations between the total exports and the Gini index for a sample of fourteen countries during the period: 1992- 2002. The study confirm the hypotheses that when the countries increase the exportations, the index Gini also increases, showing a deterioration of the distribution of the income. This tendency is confirmed for twelve of the fourteen countries, except for United States and Colombia , where the increase in exportations are showing a better distribution of the income.
Keywords : Gini index; exportations; income distribution; social effects.
