This paper focuses on the Programa de Crédito Argentino del Bicentenario para la Vivienda Única Familiar (PRO.CRE.AR) on implementation processes, created in 2012 by the National Government. PRO.CREAR programm generated expectations among citizens and different economic sectors. However, it got around several obstacles in its implementation and some of its lines were more effective than others. This paper offers a "bottom-up" view that recovers experiences and residential trayectories of Program beneficiaries. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with beneficiaries and successful bidders (who could effectively access and use the credit) of PRO.CRE.AR (2012-2015) in the Municipality of La Matanza, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
