Abstract

This paper shows the results of the analysis of some of the ideas of the German philosopher Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche and its implications in organizations and management. Emphasis is put on the possibility of justifying that, taken from the German philosopher, a view of humanist cut for human resources management in organizations can be proposed. It is stated that thinking organizations as a mean to favor the development of its members towards the "superhuman" (Übermensch) is a valuable conception. In addition, organizations are proper places for human beings to develop their conditions, ranging from individuality to the accomplishment of their own pontentiality. The thesis revolved around the "spiritual transformation", the "will of power" and the "eternal return". The objective is to approach philosophy in management matters in order to contribute to the discussion of its fundamental problems that go beyond the technical level that dominates the interested community.
