Training has become a requirement for MSMES in the regional textile industry since they require updates of theoretical and practical tools for their continuous improvement. This process starts with the training needs detection (TNA), which is essential because it provides the precise information to cover the gap between what the position requires and the worker's profile. The objective of the research is to detect the training needs of MSMES dedicated to the design, manufacture, and marketing of stylized regional clothing in Tuxtepec (Oaxaca, Mexico). To achieve this, seven microentrepreneurs were diagnosed by means of a TNA questionnaire, which was divided into knowledge, skills, and attitudes. The first two sections were divided into design management, cutting and sewing, and admin-istration. It was identified that MSMES have important needs such as: making alliances with other companies, fashion trends, research and design of collections, marketing plans, color theory, and making garments according to the market and fashion trends. It stands out that the needs are mainly in the area of design management. Important information was obtained to develop a specific training plan for these MSMES.
