Abstract
TORRES CABREROS, Delfina and VIGLIANCO, Gino. The good lobbyist's manual. Rev.econ.inst. [online]. 2022, vol.24, n.46, pp.249-267. Epub Oct 11, 2022. ISSN 0124-5996. https://doi.org/10.18601/01245996.v24n46.14.
Darkness sustains the food industry. That consumers buy food and drinks without knowing what they contain is the key to the business. Considering the advance of multiple diseases that afflict the population affected by this diet, Latin America became the scene of a new war: between those who demand (and achieve) public policies, and a fierce lobby that seeks to prevent, limit, or overthrow them. For at last10 years, different researchers have been gathering evidence to show how brands operate in different areas of power to block public policies. This manual, nourished by the best available evidence, reveals that very idea: the step by step of rigorous work that the brands that feed us do so that we continue to eat without knowing.
