In Colombia, the debate on the transitional justice model currently applied that arose from the peace agreement and the one that punishes those who have violated the criminal law, on the occasion and in development of the internal armed conflict before December 1, 2016, has become politicized. This article makes a contribution to the criticism from political philosophy to transitional justice, for this purpose a review of justice as equity and in accordance with political liberalism is made. The purpose of the investigation is constructive without ignoring the criticism of restorative justice in the midst of a massive violation of human rights, within the necessary and fundamental materialization of transitional justice in Colombia. It is concluded that transitional justice is the starting point of a special, transitory and necessary justice that applies sanctions and that fulfills goals that are essentially truth, justice, reparation and non-repetition. Model of justice that contains in its great majority restorative and eventually retributive justice, which originates the ideal of justice that allows a stable and lasting peace.
