Abstract

RIASCOS, Julio César; ACOSTA, Luisa Fernanda  and  ORTIZ, Manuel Iván. ORANGE ECONOMY AND ARTISANAL ACTIVITY IN COLOMBIA AND NARIÑO: A BRIEF ANALYTICAL REVIEW. Tend. [online]. 2020, vol.21, n.2, pp.218-241. ISSN 0124-8693.  https://doi.org/10.22267/rtend.202102.148.

The orange economy has been the subject of special attention recently, as it reveals areas that retain a high level of creativity and innovation in their final products, whether digital or manual, in order to open spaces of invention for the creation of new jobs, as well as information, knowledge and various applications. For this reason, in this article a theoretical and statistical review is made, which glimpses the current situation of this branch in Colombia and Nariño, with artisan activity as its main axis. Among the main results, there were obvious difficulties for all artisanal producers, in particular, in view of their level of income, educational level and poverty situation.
