Abstract

This paper intends to determine the variables that may engage the flow of foreign direct investment (FDI) to South America. In order to do this analysis, the term between 1992 and 2011 will be analyzed to see the behavior of the investment received on each country of this region, on a macroeconomic and sectorial level. Thus, it will be possible visualize positive or negative impact on every country the key and decisive variables for reception of foreign direct investment.
