This article shows the characterization of intra-urban displacement in Medellin City, from an analysis of three specific cases of mass displacement: El Esfuerzo, El Salado, and La Honda. For this purpose, the article talks about debates on conceptualization of this phenomenon, relationship of intra-urban forced displacement with conflict, collective actions, public policies, territory, and forced displacement in general.
