Abstract

The article identifies the education of the field as a social phenomenon that can be particularly being analyzed on the basis of the postcolonial theory. However, it is stood out that this is not possible without a certain displacement and unfolding of the matrix derived from the theory. On the basis of the critical deconstruction of the discourse people defend that the education of the field is an after-colonial practice not because in its discouse Brazil appears as a country that did not surpass blot of the colonialism or because in it continues to reveal marks of the Portuguese settling; nor because Brazil, in the condition of a peripheral country in the transnational order of the global capitalism, was a country that let itself be subordinated or dependable. But because of the discourses of the field education reveal resistance practice and willful confrontation against forces internal and external politics of its territory.
