Abstract

This paper examines the idea of peace in a group of displaced young people from Cúcuta, Colombia. Deepen this topic provides teaching materials for the construction of "Peace and Culture school", This educational proposal with which the University Francisco de Paula Santander serving this population, forced to leave their homes because of armed conflict that occurs in the Colombian-Venezuelan border. For the analysis was taken into account data provided by open interviews with progressive encoding technique: open, axial and selective categories. The findings allow the understanding of peace within the family as negative, positive, neutral, imperfect peace.
