This is an anthropological investigation that uses an ethnographic methodology to enquire about the dynamics of violence that control young bodies and their territories, producing fear and death in the so-called "Huachicol Triangle" in Guanajuato, Mexico. The experiences of 7 young survivors of an execution event in which two of their friends were murdered is analyzed. The findings show that control over the bodies of young people in this region are being disputed by different organized crime groups and the Armed Forces of the Mexican State. The conclusions identify that these young people are subject to necropolitical forces on a daily basis due to the systematic extermination of young people that occurs in this zone.
