Abstract

This text points to a reflection about champeta and African musics , understood both as " black music " , about representations of Africanness and culturally racialized into the " black". Urban music faced discriminatory devices, prohibitory denial or social invisivilización and logical paradoxes in their representation that are assumed by study trends that address. Three trends can be arranged study: 1 ) current and cartagenista Afrocentric , 2 ) alternative perspective on the cultural and territorial , 3 ) cultural economy and musical movement.
