Abstract

SAVIO, Karina. About the establishment of a discursive community: The psychoanalysis of children in Argentina. Entramado [online]. 2016, vol.12, n.2, pp.126-139. ISSN 1900-3803.  https://doi.org/10.18041/entramado.2016v12n2.24207.

In 1948 Arminda Aberastury forms the first group of psychoanalysts of children in the Asociación Psicoanalítica Argentina, the only official institution at the time. In this article, we propose to study the emerging discursive formation of this group in the light of the concept of discourse community considering the articles published on this subject in the Revista de Psicoanálisis, the main disseminator instance of the institution. To do this, we will discuss three main areas: the configuration of the introductions, the use of 'us, the psychoanalysts' and the modalities that acquires the transmission of theoretical and clinical knowledge. The article reveals certain discursive continuities and ruptures that stand for an emerging group identity and in formation.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; discursive community; discourse analysis; childhood.
