Abstract

BIANCHI SILVA, Rafael. On ethics, experience and subjectivity in contemporaneity: educational reflections. CES Psicol [online]. 2018, vol.11, n.1, pp.90-101. ISSN 2011-3080.  https://doi.org/10.21615/cesp.11.1.7.

The present work intends to carry out a debate about the human formation in the contemporary world from the ethical dimension, the experience and the subjectivity, seeking to build a contribution to the educational field from a research project that articulated Psychology and Education conducted between 2013 and 2016. For this purpose, it was taken as a starting point Agamben's (2009) understanding of contemporaneity and the diagnostic analyzes made by authors such as Zygmunt Bauman and David Harvey.

Throughout the text, correlations about the school context and the training strategies taken place by the academic institutions were considered. As contemporary signs, it is pointed the drop of the great narratives, the expansion of discourses considered legitimate in what concerns the construction of knowledge, the transformation of experience - and education as a whole - into the object of consumption and the loss of a universal ethical. The school may play an important role in the process of questioning these elements in order to strengthen the establishment of more constructive relationships that takes into account the dimension of otherness. Finally, we point to the need to deconstruct discourses that operate in the maintenance of a normative-prescriptive perspective that favors the impoverishment of experience.
