Abstract

ISAZA-R., Marisol. About the category territories and landscapes in the social logics of complexity. Rev. eleuthera [online]. 2021, vol.23, n.2, pp.57-78.  Epub Feb 07, 2022. ISSN 2011-4532.  https://doi.org/10.17151/eleu.2021.23.2.4.

Objective:

To approach the territory and landscape category from the social logics of complexity as a transdisciplinary research about complex societies, environment, and territory in Social Sciences.

Methodology:

An approach to the territorial system from the logics of complex societies and, simultaneously, a definition of the logical-methodological fields in their behaviors and fluctuations.

Results:

A discussion about the space-time of “the social” in the concept of territory as a living and intelligent system expressed in social, natural, and cultural landscapes is introduced.

Conclusions:

This extension of the interpretative approach must identify the jumps of territorial reality in its regularities and chaotic factors expressed through its different evolutionary states in the discontinuities of its landscapes, in the gaps and management of powers, in the paradoxes of its development and, finally, in the drastic changes in its historical viability.

Keywords : complex societies; territory; landscape; non-linear logic.
