Abstract
MORALES-REYES, Camila and VELEZ-SANTA, Valentina. Being diverse and critical interculturality from the Agroecological Market of Quindío: reflections for the praxis of decolonial Social Work. Rev. eleuthera [online]. 2022, vol.24, n.1, pp.309-325. Epub Aug 30, 2022. ISSN 2011-4532. https://doi.org/10.17151/eleu.2022.24.1.16.
Objective.
Understand how the diverse Being is assumed from the Quindío Agroecological Market as a main category result of the research “Knowledge and resistance in diverse communities: a look from the Social Work in decolonial and intercultural perspective”.
Methodology.
We worked under a qualitative, transectional approach, based on reflection-action whose method was composed of six interstices.
Results.
The Quindío Agroecological Market builds meeting spaces based on social diversity and critical interculturality, assuming diversity as a potential; creating paths of reflection that question certain methods of research and intervention in Social Work.
Conclusions.
Currently the concept of social diversity has managed to transcend from constant struggles such as those that frame the Quindío Agroecological Market, revealing the need to create other ways of assuming social praxis, questioning conventional methods of investigation and intervention.
