Abstract

Objective:

To describe, from an intersectional perspective, the institutional ecosystem of intimate partner violence in the municipality of Soraca, Boyaca.

Methodology:

The study is qualitative, the information was collected through analysis of a focus group composed by institutional actors of the municipality of Soraca.

Results:

The inter-institutional articulation contributes to the formation of care and prevention strategies of violence based on the recognition of the categories of gender, social class, generation, educational level and other dimensions that make up the identities of its inhabitants and enable the recognition of the experiences that structure intimate partner violence.

Conclusions:

The geographical characteristics of the high Andean rural territories affect the creation of continuous support mechanisms for victims of partner violence.
