Abstract

DIAZ, Jaime José et al. Intralobar pulmonary sequestration and pulmonary aspergilosis: a case report. rev. colomb. cir. [online]. 2020, vol.35, n.4, pp.684-688.  Epub Feb 15, 2021. ISSN 2011-7582.  https://doi.org/10.30944/20117582.519.

Pulmonary sequestration is a rare type of congenital pulmonary malformation, with variable clinical presentation and usually diagnosed during childhood. It can coexist with other pulmonary pathologies, mainly infectious, and its definitive management is through a surgical procedure.

We present the case of an adult patient with pulmonary sequestration associated with a fungal infection, managed with minimally invasive surgery.

Keywords : lung; bronchopulmonary sequestration; pulmonary aspergillosis; congenital abnormalities; thoracoscopy; thoracic surgery, video-assisted.
