Abstract

CARDONA ZULETA, Elvigia  and  ROLDAN VILLA, Ana María. Evolution of research groups in the area of law in Colombia 2014-2020. rev.ces derecho [online]. 2022, vol.13, n.1, pp.52-69.  Epub June 06, 2022. ISSN 2145-7719.  https://doi.org/10.21615/cesder.6384.

Based on a qualitative documentary research with a territorial perspective, it was addressed the evolution of law research groups in Colombia. The data analyzed showed that although there is a tendency to grow and stagger the groups, there is a concentration of them in a few departments; denoting a center-periphery inequality in the production of knowledge. In addition, the limited participation of women in research was analyzed, evidencing a gender gap that includes a wage disparity, a reality that has been accentuated by stereotypes and prejudices typical of legal work.

Keywords : classification system; research; legal profession; research groups.
