Abstract

CASTILLO G, María Esther. THE LEGITIMATION OF POWER IN LOS MOTIVOS DE BAYARDO BY LUIS ARTURO RAMOS. perifrasis. rev.lit.teor.crit. [online]. 2022, vol.13, n.27, pp.32-49.  Epub Sep 06, 2022. ISSN 2145-8987.  https://doi.org/10.25025/perifrasis202213.27.02.

Luis Arturo Ramos, through an argument of a police nature, highlights in Los motivos de Bayardo a series of circumstances that obey the cultural policies that the State maintains on literary art and authors. The administrative contexts of politics around the dissemination of art show that the manipulation of relationships between individuals attached to a cultural group or institution implies a form of legitimation of its leaders or of the elites who justify themselves to exercise its dominance over those who aspire to social recognition.

Keywords : Luis Arturo Ramos; México; Veracruz; fiction; black novel.
