Abstract

PEREZ BERMUDEZ, Hingrid Camila; BUSTAMANTE RUA, Mónica María  and  POZZOLO, Susanna. Afro-Descendant Communities' Justice: A Decolonial, Racial, and Intercultural Proposal. Novum Jus [online]. 2023, vol.17, n.2, pp.69-93.  Epub Nov 22, 2023. ISSN 1692-6013.  https://doi.org/10.14718/novumjus.2023.17.2.3.

This article is based on acknowledging the application of the processes of justice constructed based on race, interculturality, and decolonial thought, from Afro communities, as a guarantee for the reconstruction of autonomous, intercultural, and governance forms, which resolve conflicts. The methodological design was founded on a sociological and legal review that allowed us to reach other forms of justice. A reading that, strengthened in legal pluralism, appropriates narratives that dialogue with the cultures and identities of the territories.

Keywords : Afro communities; decolonial; intercultural; own justice; pluralism; racial.
