Abstract

LINARES SIMANCAS, Juan Joel  and  QUINTERO OVIEDO, Alberto José. Between Lines and Classrooms. 21 Latin American Teachers Narrate their Experiences. Enunciación [online]. 2023, vol.28, n.1, pp.177-180.  Epub Nov 24, 2023. ISSN 0122-6339.  https://doi.org/10.14483/22486798.20401.

During the pandemic caused by COVID-19, education went from being face-to-face to remote. Therefore, measures were taken which involved unpleasant experiences in many regions of South America. On the other hand, the pandemic generated profound changes in teaching practice, in teaching, and in learning. Many teachers had to teach and create alternative spaces, as well as methods and techniques to avoid slowing down educational processes and progress. The objective of this review is to show the moments lived, narrated, and built by teachers not only in the academic field, but also in the community. Description was used to approach the book. The results yielded important findings, above all regarding the fostering of reading and writing. As a conclusion, it was found that the experiences recounted by the teachers can create positive alternatives for the sake of knowledge, as well as for the strengthening of other areas and coexistence in general.

Keywords : narration; book; reading; promotion; education; unconventional or formal spaces.
