Abstract

BARRERA QUIROGA, Diego Mauricio  and  PAEZ SANCHEZ, Érika Julieth. Memorable Life: An Interpretive Study from Narrative Research. Enunciación [online]. 2023, vol.28, n.2, pp.217-227.  Epub Apr 21, 2024. ISSN 0122-6339.  https://doi.org/10.14483/22486798.20786.

This article addresses narrative records extracted from interviews and informal conversations with a professor from Universidad de la Amazonía (Colombia). Her experience takes on an essential importance in the journey and construction of her pedagogical practice and the new meanings that she ascribes throughout her life. In the analysis of this narrative record, the notion of language is conceived from a socio-semiotic perspective that integrates activity, thought, and discourse into socialization processes. Consequently, we allow ourselves to observe how pedagogical knowledge, identity, and socio-cultural conditions are constructed through language, that is, narration is the process that links the contingencies lived with meaning by reconstructing their experience.

Keywords : narrations; experiential learning; pedagogical knowledge; reflective practice; pedagogical practice.
