Resumen
LEAL-MARTINEZ, ANA MARÍA. THE CAMPAMENTO LIBERTAD SIMÓN TRINIDAD, A POST-CONFLICT TRANSCARCERAL SPACE. Maguare [online]. 2022, vol.36, n.2, pp.89-126. Epub 23-Dic-2022. ISSN 0120-3045. https://doi.org/10.15446/mag.v36n2.102862.
From a semi-ethnographic approach, this article studies the history, distinctive traits, and conceptual categories that cut across the role of the carceral in war and in transitional justice at the Campamento Libertad Simón Trinidad. This collective reintegration space that served as a transitory concentration site of guerrilla prisoners was established by the Colombian government after the ratification of the peace agreements with the FARC-EP in 2016. I argue that by identifying themselves as political prisoners, ex-combatants kept a historical continuity in their stance, which they made evident in the Simón Trinidad peace camp, the interaction with other civilians, and their closely related to the FARC political party form of social organization.
