Resumen
ESCOBAR GONIMA, Carlos. William Harvey and blood circulation: his epistemological obstacles. Iatreia [online]. 2006, vol.19, n.2, pp.199-205. ISSN 0121-0793.
THIS PAPER EMPHASIZES on the importance of William Harvey as a precursor of the experimental method in medicine. It describes some of the epistemological obstacles he had to face in the elaboration of his theory of blood circulation, contradicting the galenical theory on the subject that was accepted as a doctrine at his time.
