Resumen

RANIERI, Filippo. Towards the origins of European civil law. Some reflections about relationship between German pandectistic and Italian civil law on legal transaction. Rev. Derecho Privado [online]. 2015, n.28, pp.13-43. ISSN 0123-4366.  https://doi.org/10.18601/01234366.n28.02.

The history of Italian civil law of the last century was marked by a major event: the replacement of French influence by German influence. Nevertheless, this influence has decreased since few decades ago. Nowadays, interest that Italian culture shows in Anglo-American model is marked. Notwithstanding that, the study of this fundamental chapter of recent European private law history, which may be called «Italian pandectistic», could facilitate greater understanding of some structural characters of Italian civil law and keep alive conscious of one aspect of civil law culture that Italy shares with Germany and other European countries.

Palabras clave : Roman law; Pandectistic; German law; Italian law; legal transaction.
