Resumen
URTUBEY, Federico Eduardo. Territory, social production of space and cultural practices. A case study analysis. Bitácora Urbano Territorial [online]. 2018, vol.28, n.3, pp.55-62. ISSN 0124-7913. https://doi.org/10.15446/bitacora.v28n3.62805.
This paper aims at characterizing the present issues in relation to the territory and the use of space, taking as a starting point the analysis of some practices and cultural activism which take both, territory and pace, as an object of inquiry. In that respect, after eventual references to the locative arts and the relations between the Arts and urban space the analysis will focus on the Iconoclasistas collective, which promote collaborative practices of reflection in connection to territory issues in different cities. Methodologically, an interdisciplinary and qualitative perspective is suggested, which contemplates a theoretical frame that articulates constructivist geography such as categories proper of the sociology of culture. The conclusion will state in which fashion certain artistic practices can promote ways of production of the urban space which bring up to date arguments about the Public aspect.
