The analysis of the propolis production's subsector state in Colombia and America Latina markets was done in this study. With the aim of introduce it into the international markets, considering the social consequences in a hypothetical stage of a success product worldwide demand and the globalization issues that some experts have analyzed. It is inappropriate to involve indigenes and peasant communities into the globalizing processes was concluded, it would be better if they work through a internal building process, strengthening their internal market that give them the opportunity to come out of the poverty circle and bring them solutions to malnutrition and food safety. Propolis is collected by bees (Apis mellifera) from different trees and bushes. The propolis contains many medical, nutritional as well pharmaceutical properties, so despite of their incipient production as well the lower volumes of production in Colombia as well as the rest of Latin America, it is major subject of interest, investigations and research. One of the reason of lower production and developement of it, is the a lack of stimulus that producer feel from the State-Government and same system of marketing that undervalued the qualities of the product and not so fairly remunerated.
