This article analyzes the effects of mining on territories and lifestyles of local inhabitants, as well as the violence it creates in both men and women. Likewise, it analyzes the responses and initiatives of social movements led by women who make demands concerning the right to life, autonomy and territorial control. The author refers to these political dynamics known as territorial feminisms which are centered on the circulation and defense of life, the body, territories and the natural world, as well as the critique of the capitalist and extractivist processes of capitalist development.
