Resumen
ANDRADE, Ender. Theoretical inputs for teaching the rules governing the use of comma. Leng. [online]. 2018, vol.46, n.1, pp.149-176. ISSN 0120-3479. https://doi.org/10.25100/lenguaje.v46i1.6199.
This article is divided in three parts: in the first part a reflection about some of the difficulties that underlie the teaching process of the rules governing punctuation marks is given. In the second part an explanation of the rules that, according to Real Academia Española, should guide the use of the comma is presented. At last, and supported by the concepts of Flipped Classroom, some recommendations for teaching such standards are outlined. The main object is to give a theoretical frame so teachers -Spanish language primarily- can justify to their students when, where and why that punctuation mark should be used.
