Resumen

MUNEVAR M, Dora Inés. Epistemic Distances within Studies on Human Disabilities. univ.humanist. [online]. 2013, n.76, pp.299-324. ISSN 0120-4807.

Based on the reflexiveness, the article proposes interactions between social critical studies before applying the expertise, in order to situate the representation and knowledge production from the perspective of social studies of science, technology and medicine, and from the experiences, to revive discussions opened by postcolonial and feminist studies. As a result, epistemic distancing questions the ways of doing research and thinking / understanding the socio-political reality experienced by women and men with disabilities.
