Correlation with endoscopic findings was established. Results. Self - reported symptoms of depression and anxiety were statistically significant in adolescents (p=0,001), whereas only anxiety symptoms were significant in adolescents with reflux disease (p=0,001). Neither anxiety nor depression was related to type of dyspepsia (organic or functional). Cigarette smoking and alcohol use were significant in adolescents with dyspepsia.
