Colombian caficulture is an activity of 500,000 farmers in 580 municipalities constituting the main source of income for two million people in the rural area; this production has suffered the consequences of ageing in 37 per cent nationally, in the Cundinamarca’s case 55 % is the ageing caficulture and El Colegio municipality of study the figure amounts to 64 per cent. Research aimed to identify the causes of low appropriation of technologies for the renewal of hills in this municipality in Cundinamarca. Methodological perspective the systemic approach was chosen, the method of analysis was the qualitative descriptive and identification of information became both secondary sources and primary sources through observation and interviews with professional and productors whose farms having coffee of two years and second cash that sheds a coffee plantation in full production flow does not cover the costs of the renewal which excludes it from being competitive regard to which technician in the medium and long term. Previous restrictions not involve the educational theme of the scale of technology adoption traditional and tech batches. Shafts worked analysis was directly involved with the process of technologies adoption. Research concluded as major causes to the technologies adoption for renewal of hills in El Colegio municipality - Cundinamarca nature economic two-way; first of the productors stops perceive resources over a period.
