The subservience of the media is axiomatic in the construction of an enemy that serves the State for all purposes. Thus, the Colombian government has used a high dose of legal and illegal violence, based on a deviant interpretation of democracy, in order to magnify terrorism as the only problem to solve. However, the "enemy" is an otherness produced by the media.
