CAMBERO QUEZADA, Guillermo. Patrimonial Responsibility: Counterweight to the Exorbitant Power of the Mexican Public Administration. Rev. Derecho [online]. 2021, n.55, pp.103-122. Epub 18-Ene-2022. ISSN 0121-8697. https://doi.org/10.14482/dere.55.344.
State liability has introduced significant innovations in the Mexican legal system in recent times, which has favored the development of a national administrative law. Thus, the individual who has suffered damages may compel the Mexican public administration to compensate him. However, the scope of this figure in Mexico is still limited due to a great lack of knowledge on the part of law specialists in Mexico. This article analyses the main characteristics of the state liability, with the aim of understanding the role of public administration within a context of legality and the rule of law, thus avoiding the bad practices of the public administration, so that they act within the framework of law.
