The objective of this research was to understand the modes of cultural leadership of the artistic groups Aromas de mi Tierra, Banda Pasión Musical and Ángeles de Charlie from Comuna 1 in Medellín, as well as their contributions to the construction of peaceful coexistence. The research is qualitative, of an ethnographic nature, and information was collected via participant observation and open semi-structured interviews. The article presents the most relevant results, as well as the three forms of cultural leadership that derive from the work carried out with the leaders of the groups and whose analysis has been carried out through the categories: female political subjectivity, youth and political participation and cultural entrepreneurship.
