The business relationship between farmers and suppliers needs to be studied to identify the dyadic dynamics in the territories because these actors are closely linked to the capacity to build competitive advantages from the supply change perspective. Therefore, this research proposed a scale to measure the quality of the business relationship between suppliers and farmers applicable to Spanish-speaking contexts, specifically in agribusinesses dedicated to agricultural production. For this purpose, various scales were selected, which are part of the con-struct of the quality of the commercial relationship developed within the relationship marketing paradigm. The scales were adapted and validated in their content and statistically through a confirmatory factor analysis that allowed the selection of the measurement models that best represent the relational quality construct. This was done through structural equations by the partial least square's method (SEM-PLS) and with the help of the SmartPLS 3 software. The results allowed the evaluation of three models from which it was possible to conclude that the integral or one-dimensional and multidimensional models are optimal for measuring the quality of the business relationship between agricultural producers and suppliers.
