Resumen
GONZALEZ-JIMENEZ, Edgar E. Surface and volume control at the nanoscale for nanodevices configuration and design. Rev. acad. colomb. cienc. exact. fis. nat. [online]. 2016, vol.40, n.157, pp.590-599. ISSN 0370-3908. https://doi.org/10.18257/raccefyn.398.
The study of the geometric conditions required to optimize the sensitivity of the surface plasmon resonance as a function of the adsorption of atomic or molecular entities is possible using colloidal nanoparticles with internal volume and improved interaction surface. Given its properties, it is possible to configure these nanoparticles for the design of nanosensors and nanoantennas in absorption or emission mode. In the enclosed volume, the electric field intensity is increased forming "hot cavities", which are useful in nanomedicine for controlled drug delivery.
