Understanding and textual interpretation are difficulties affecting students, therefore in the sixth grade of Rural Educational Institution Antonio Nariño de San Pedro Antioquia a pedagogical strategy based on ICT which consisted of applying a pre-test was implemented allowing to know the level of understanding and textual interpretation, continuing the training process supported by ICT, ending with the post-test which showed the progress of the study conducted. The methodology used is mixed, quantitative survey techniques with a sample of 38 students and qualitative data that describe the process and results. At the end, the results show that 89.47% of students showed changes in understanding and textual interpretation.
