This article presents the results of the research Present history of teaching as a practice of social truth-telling and singularities of telling in public schools in the municipality of Medellin. The programs of courses offered in four levels of actor training at the Little Theater School, in Medellín, Colombia, are analyzed in order to make visible practices of the self in the educational processes of the micro-curricula studied, constituted as practices of freedom, to be carried out by the subjects and to affirm processes of subjectivation. For this purpose, the discursive practices spread in the programs describing practices of the self are sought and organized, on which the technique of discursive analysis is used. Thus, the different categories and subcategories evidenced in the practices are identified, as well as their discursive regularities. The study reveals that most of the freedom practices relate to bodily practices and practices of creation.
