This article is a reflection on the experience of eight youth groups in the city of Medellin. The political potential of these youth practices is approached from the perspective of the struggles for recognition. Moral wounds caused by the exclusion situations motivate these people to undertake actions to be recognized, where the media take on a preponderant role.
