Resumen
VEGA D, Soraya. NATION-STATE AND CRUEL MORAL: A GENEALOGICAL READING OF POLITICAL VIOLENCE IN COLOMBIA. Nómadas [online]. 2015, n.42, pp.229-240. ISSN 0121-7550.
This article offers a critical interpretation of violence and political customs in Colombia starting from the following question: What do the ideals of the nation-state mean to the group of intellectuals and social scientists, pioneers in violence studies? From a Nietzschean perspective, the criticism is a genealogical one, dealing with the issue of values: first, it points to the origin, values and ideals of these cruel customs and practices, and second,, it examines the problem of the worth of values, appealing to the concept of will to power, in order to interpret our historical status as a colonized society.
Palabras clave : ideals and values of the nation state; cruel moral; will to truth; will to power; intellectuals; Colombia.
