Resumen

NUNEZ, Javiera  y  MILLAN, Márgara. Women's Court and Antigona Gonzalez: Memory, Justice, Archive, and Truth. Nómadas [online]. 2020, n.53, pp.33-49.  Epub 26-Jun-2021. ISSN 0121-7550.  https://doi.org/10.30578/nomadas.n53a2.

This writing comes from a research around the figure of Antigone and her constant adaptation to the tragic realities that are lived in Latin America, regarding disappeared people, their bodies and the search for them, and the murders perpetrated by State violence or violence permitted or omitted within the State. The authors posit that for justice to exist, there needs to be a recognition of the act implying it, which makes the truth behind that act at stake in the first place. The article concludes by highlighting the importance of addressing, from the social sciences, the artistic expressions that reflect on the most serious social problems.

Palabras clave : Antigone; Burial; Community; Justice; Memory; Truth.
