Objetive: To determine the quality of life perceived by the familiar keeper of the patient with renal chronic insufficiency in Cartagena. Methodology: Descriptive Study, there were studied keepers of renal patients who were present at institutions prestadoras of services of hemodiálisis and dialysis peritoneal in Cartagena. I estimate a sample of 225 keepers, chosen in random form. The qualit mea-surement of life was realized by means of the instrument proposed by Ferrel.
